James Haines is a teacher and actor specializing in educational theatre. For the past eight years he has devised and presented English langauge workshops all over Northern Europe.
James qualified as a teacher in 1989 with a P.G.C.E. but didn't start teaching immediately, his degree is in drama and he became an actor. His first professional contract, in "The Merchant of Venice" involved devising and presenting schools workshops on Shakespeare. A few years later he became a partner with Big Wheel Theatre in Education, presenting language workshops in schools all over Northern Europe.
He studied T.E.F.L in Oxford, has spent periods teaching English abroad and in Oxford. In 1996 he established Iago Productions with the broad aim of providing interactive theatre workshops to educate, motivate and entertain. He is currently providing workshops for schools in Spain and Portugal.
